Why I Am Taking French

I am a writer, an inkspinner, a lover of words. Many of my favorite novels are translated from French into English. The prose in such books is so exquisite and beautiful that I can only imagine what they must sound and look like in their original language. I want to be able to eventually read these books in their original forms.The first book I will read will be The Little Prince.I love French culture and art and I desire to one day see France for myself. This class gives me the chance to write and read in French and take a step towards one day viewing the country myself.
